For the past two years, the Artistry in Iron Master Builder’s Championship has been sponsored by American Cycle Magazine and sister publication, American Bagger. I know I speak for all the Maverick Publishing staff members when I say we are very honored and proud to be involved in this competition, which shows off some of the best motorcycles built by the best custom motorcycle building talent in the country.

This year’s winner is Mark Daley, owner and operator of Thunderstruck Custom Bikes in Medford, OR. His winning motorcycle, which he calls Sniper, is feature on these and the following pages. Take your time and enjoy looking at one of the most thoroughly original custom motorcycles ever to grace the Las Vegas BikeFest.

Mark built this bike in two years, which seems like a very short time considering the extensive design, fabrication, and assembly processes required for a motorcycle of this caliber. Talk about an eclectic assortment of parts and components; from the Honda CBR 600 carburetor set feeding the motor, to the Power-Plus (V-Plus) Indian motor. This motorcycle is very unique.
