Trask's CVO Dyna Glide 2/2010

At the high end of the Harley-Davidson® line of motorcycles are the 110” Screamin’ Eagle CVO two wheelers. They pack more punch than the standard lineup, at a premium price of course. But as they say, “you get what you pay for”.

If you and your buddy both have Screamin’ Eagle motorcycles and you’ve got the urge to one-up him, slap a Trask Performance Turbo Kit on yours. Then put your leathers on and hang on, because that bird will have more scream and steam than most others. I’m talking 152 horsepower and 148 ft.-lbs. of torque on an otherwise stock motor. That’s with only eight pounds of boost and 91 octane pump gas. Hanging on to the handlebars will take just a little extra effort when the wick is twisted to the stop.

In addition to the Trask Turbo Kit, the ’07 CVO Dyna Glide seen here has a Zippers Performance ThunderMax EFI module with a two-bar sensor installed. After installing a turbocharger on a motorcycle, a base map can be uploaded prior to riding the bike. As the motorcycle accumulates mileage, the ThunderMax AutoTune unit learns what the motor needs and creates a map that tries to maintain the best overall running parameters when accelerating, coasting and cruising.
