HB Spokes 3/2010

Eddie Trotta’s Thunder Cycle Design of Ft. Lauderdale, FL is famous for their long wheelbase motorcycles that are handsome, powerful and fun to ride. The fabrication duties were performed by Dustin at TCD, assembly was done by Mr. Trotta himself. Thunder Cycle Design crew members also applied the Tangerine Candy and white paint job with overlaid HB Spoke Saloon graphics that look a mile deep.

A big 124” H&L Performance motor with Trotta modifications tempts the rider to bury the needle on the Dakota Digital speedometer. Ignition spark and timing are provided by a Crane Hi-4 unit and the carburetor is what else? An S&S Super G. Both the V-Stack air cleaner and custom exhaust system are Thunder Cycle products. The compression ratio is a non-kickable 11:1.

A right-side drive Baker Drivetrain gearbox is foot shifted by owner/rider Curtis Vulnable. Mounted on the box is a 30 tooth drive pulley which sends the power to the rear wheel. All the chrome plating on HB Spokes was done by Chromemasters.
