Barnett Tool & Engineering 1/2010

If you made a few modifications to your motor and the clutch acts like it can’t handle the extra ponies, the first thing to do is upgrade the clutch spring. With late model diaphragm spring clutches this is a relatively simple procedure you can do at home with common hand tools. Barnett’s Heavy-Duty Clutch Spring is just the ticket for 50% more pressure on the clutch pack. This should eliminate any slippage that occurred with the stock spring. It’s also a bolt-in clutch spring with no other modifications required, except maybe a little extra beef in your clutch hand.

Here is Barnett’s Heavy-Duty Clutch Spring that we will be installing on a ’05 Dyna Glide.
